Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen Historium Brügge
GeneralThese General Conditions regulate the ordering of admission tickets and the visit of visitors to the Historium Bruges. All visitors who order tickets and/or presents themselves for admission to the Historium shall be deemed to have read and accepted these General Conditions. The General Conditions may be changed by the Historium at any time; the most recent version is always available on the Historium website.
Visitors enter the Historium at their own risk. The attraction is not suitable for persons who suffer from claustrophobia or fear of the dark. The Historium is not responsible for loss or theft of or damage to personal property during the visit, even if said personal property has been stowed in the lockers, nor is it liable for any physical injuries.
Visitors shall familiarise themselves with the current Historium Visitor Regulations as displayed on the Historium website at the time of the visit, and shall be deemed to have accepted these regulations. Our employees are authorised to remove visitors who do not abide by the visitor and access conditions, or who (threaten) to disturb the peace, from the Historium. In such cases visitors have no right to compensation. Visitors shall at all times follow the instructions and comply with requests by Historium employees.
The Historium reserves the right to (temporarily) close the attraction without prior notification for technical, operational or other reasons; under such circumstances no refunds shall be given. If a visitor has given correct and full contact information, the Historium shall try its best to notify said visitor regarding an unforeseen closure, although this cannot always be guaranteed.
Tickets
Tickets can be booked and paid for online or at the Historium Ticket Office. The booking process on the website can take place in the following languages, according to visitor preference: Dutch, French and English.
Online bookings are only possible subject to immediate payment with the accepted payment method (credit cards). The consumer does not have the right to rescind his purchase.
The Historium confirms online bookings via an e-mail that is sent to the e-mail address given by the visitor. The offer of tickets at a given price, on the website or otherwise, shall only be binding for the Historium once the booking has been confirmed in this way. After your booking has been confirmed it is no longer possible to change or move your booking.
Visitors must have the reserved e-tickets with them during their visit (digital or on paper). School and group tickets are only valid for the booking date stated on the ticket. Tickets are invalid once the expiry date is passed. Individual tickets are valid within the period stated on the e-ticket.
For schools and groups, the time or duration of the reserved time slot may be changed for technical reasons. The Historium may not be held liable for any possible resulting damages or costs for the visitor.
If you arrive too late for the reserved time slot, you will not receive a refund of the admission fee or any other form of compensation. For this reason, we request (school) groups to be present no later than 5 minutes before the start of the reserved time slot.
Promotions and/ or discounts are not applicable to this ticket or online tickets unless explicitly mentioned in the promotional or competition conditions. Tickets shall not be replaced in the event of theft and no compensation shall be given in such cases. Any tickets that cannot be scanned in order to obtain access to the Historium shall be deemed to be invalid. Visitors are responsible for the legible printing of online tickets. A ticket shall only give access to the Historium on a single occasion; the copying or multiple printing of a ticket shall not be valid. Any change to a new time slot is considered as a new booking. The management shall at all times reserve the right to change the admission prices for the Historium. The display of prices on the Internet or by any other means shall not be binding.
Change or cancellation by the Historium
From time to time we are obliged to make changes both before and after confirmation of the booking, to correct injustices and cancel bookings and we reserve this right.
If major changes or cancellation are necessary, we shall endeavour to notify you as swiftly as possible provided you have given us your correct and full contact information. We cannot however guarantee that you will be notified before the planned visit in all circumstances. If this is still possible before your visit, you will have the choice from the following options: a. accepting the modified ticket or b. accepting an alternative booking offer from the Historium. This alternative shall never amount to a higher price than the amount originally paid by you. c. cancelling or accepting the cancellation, in which case you will be fully refunded the amount originally paid by you, either through a voucher.
NB: the above options shall not apply when the change is of an insignificant nature. In all cases, our liability for major changes and cancellations is limited to the offering of the options mentioned above. We are unfortunately not able to compensate you for any disbursements, costs or losses incurred as a result of any change or cancellation.
Admission
It is only possible to enter the Historium attractions with a valid admission ticket. The admission ticket is only valid for schools and groups for the date booked in advance. This admission ticket must be kept in good condition by visitors during their stay in the Historium and presented at the request of one of our employees. Visitors who hold an e-ticket must exchange this at the reception desk for an admission ticket to the Historium attractions.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by their parents or at least by one accompanying adult (16 years or older). Carers shall always be responsible and liable for the behaviour of the accompanied minors, both individually and in a group. The Historium shall reserve the right to check the age of any children.
